It looks to me like a modern version of a log. It looks so light and fluid and i'm not sure it would work in our rather hostile park environments but it would work in my garden. Chained to a wall.
It reminds me of ice cream sticks, and I was skeptical whether it would not support my weight. But it seems it qualified as a bench therefore, this method of construction has enough structural integrity. It is called strip construction and it is used in the construction of wooden canoes. It is genius, I am imagining the possibility.
